In the winter Pejo offers a way of life and flavours which have long been forgotten. You can breathe in the welcoming, family style air. It is as though the cold “is melting”; this is the sincere but reserved characteristic of the mountain people. At Cogolo and Pejo Fonti, as well as ice skating you can cross-country ski on various courses under the care of experts in Nordic sports. There are excursions in the Park on “ciaspole” which are snow shows, accompanied by guides and with the possibility of moonlit walks in order to look at the star filled sky. There are also climbs on beautiful iced falls and alpine skiing at all levels.
Night falls immediately after the sun sets and this is when the many bars etc., come alive offering hours of serenity in the “company” of delicious local dishes. This is winter in Pejo, not only skiing but “white magic” which should be tried.
