There are many species of fauna
living in the park.
This
does not mean that they can easily be seen. It is necessary to
have patience and experience and perhaps some help from a guide.
Perhaps it is because of this that it is easy to sight a
majestic deer or timid roebuck, which gives wonderful emotions.
The most “popular” animals are most certainly the large
ungulates: deer, roebuck, chamois and ibex, which are the
“princes” of the park. Many other mammals (foxes, ermine,
marmots, squirrels, hare and others) populate the open spaces
and woods, which are supervised by the Park. Many birds find an
ideal habitat within the Park: from the splendid royal eagle to
the kestrel, from the eagle owl to the woodpecker (red and
black), from the partridge to the wood grouse and forcello…
